Side-splitting belly laughs
from a North East comedy legend
Alan Snell’s eccentric style playing the Geordie daft lad has been entertaining audiences since 1970. At the peak of his career, he was doing up to twenty-one shows a week, including bookings throughout England, Wales and Scotland. But his favourite audiences are right here in the North East of England, where he’s won many awards for his work.
At His Very Vest was recorded in front of an audience at Newcastle Playhouse on 28 September 2003.
The show includes Alan’s quirky views on hospitals and doctors, schools and teachers, holidays abroad, football, pubs and “wor lass”. There are occasional mild swear words and references to sex so parental discretion is advised. The dvd has been given a “12” certificate.
